When and where do you meet?
Sundays at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. at 1101 Volvo Parkway, Chesapeake, Virginia 23320. Two services.
What is “The Confluence”? And why does your logo say EST1982 + EST2026?
A confluence is the place where two rivers meet, and keep flowing as one. In 2026, two churches became one family: Greenbrier Church, established in 1982, and Garden Co. Church, established in 2026. We call that merger The Confluence. It’s why you’ll see “EST1982 + EST2026” on our printed materials and on our screens. It’s not a typo, but a testimony. God was writing both stories long before they met, and neither one ended. They joined, and the current got stronger.
What should I wear?
Whatever you’d wear on a Saturday. No dress code, no pressure, just come.
What’s a Sunday morning actually like?
A welcoming, relaxed, full-of-life atmosphere. Before the service starts, you’ll find people grabbing coffee, meeting new friends and a genuine sense of hospitality. Once inside the service, you’ll experience live, unhurried worship, honest teaching rooted in Scripture, and prayer.
What about my kids?
GardenKids is a safe, joyful environment for Pre-K through elementary, running during both Sunday services.
What’s a Table?
Church isn’t just Sundays for us. Throughout the week we gather in homes across Hampton Roads, sharing meals, praying together, and learning to live the way of Jesus as a family. You can join one anytime.
I’m new. Will anyone put me on the spot?
No. You won’t be asked to stand, raise a hand, or give anything.
Do I have to give money?
No. Giving is for people who call Garden Co. home, and even then it’s between you and God. Guests should feel zero pressure when the moment comes.
